Wood's History

Wood’s AC and Heating was founded by Clifford & Adela Wood as a residential HVAC repair/replacement company. At 26-27 years old, they started the business out of their home and was a referral/word of mouth only company for over 35 years. After operating out of their home for the first 15 years of business, They landed a property in Jefferson, Louisiana, and built the shop we use to this day. Currently, Wood’s AC & Heating offers residential and commercial services on all brands/makes of equipment and we continue to grow through commercial refrigeration from walk-in cooler/freezer systems to small appliance services like ice machines and coolers! At Wood’s AC & Heating we strive to offer the best service and equipment to the people of the greater New Orleans area. Since the beginning, we have primarily sold Bryant equipment as our recommended choice and have been a Bryant dealer for 35 years. We trust this equipment in our own homes and prefer to sell Bryant because of their reliability, competitive pricing, and warranty/customer support transparency.
